REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY

On Friday November 11, 2022, all LSLB offices are closed – this is a time to remember those veterans that fought in the wars to ensure the safety of those who stayed home.

You can do this by wearing a poppy, observing a two-minute silence, or attending the LSLB Remembrance Day ceremony, agenda is as follows:

10:30am – Meet at Skwlax Cemetery
11:00am – Moment of Silence
11:30am – Lunch at Band Hall

GRAND OPENING - SKWLAX COMMUNITY HUB

Please join us this Monday November 14th, 2022, from 11am to 2pm for our official Grand Opening of the Skwlāx Community Hub - the ribbon cutting will be at 12pm, it’ll be outside so please dress warm!!


The Skwlāx Community Hub is an exciting space offering boardroom rental and co-working spaces for band members, entrepreneurs, and community groups to grow or start-up their business and/or organization. Great for networking sessions and events, small meeting space, brainstorming sessions, presentations, training sessions, and community group meetings.


The following services are also available to band members free of charge:


· Board Room Rental
· Co-working Space
· Photocopier Use
· Business support
· Elder support
· Youth support


This was an initiative by Chief and Council to create a safe community gathering space to support business development, community groups and educational needs and to provide free services to elders and youth.


Join us on Monday November 14th, 2022. Tours are available! Snacks will be provided.

Photocopier and select office equipment and supplies available for use.
