Emergency Management

The overall vision for the LSLB Emergency Management Program is to build a more resilient community that is better prepared to respond and recover from emergency events. This is achieved through our objectives of having an efficient and effective Emergency Management Program, by developing policies and procedures through the Emergency Management Plan, increasing the resiliency of the community members and staff during emergency events, by promoting and educating Emergency Preparedness., Increase situational awareness, by creating an efficient communication process for community members, Reducing the severity of emergency events by conducting mitigation work, increasing our response capacity by acquiring emergency response equipment and training for a fully functional Emergency Operation Centre, increasing the resiliency of the community members and staff during emergency events, by promoting and educating Emergency Preparedness, increase situational awareness, by creating an efficient communication process for community members, reducing the severity of emergency events by conducting mitigation work, increasing our response capacity by acquiring emergency response equipment and training for a fully functional Emergency Operation Centre.
